Bokaro Institute of Technology (BIT), Peterwar, Bokaro is one of the leading institutes for higher education in Engineering and Technology in Jharkhand. Established under the Shakti College of Education Trust, the institute is located at Lukaiya, Peterwar, Tenu Dam-Cum-Kathhara, Bokaro, Jharkhand.

The institute is affiliated to the Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT), Ranchi and is approved to offer both Diploma and Undergraduate (B.Tech) programs in various disciplines of engineering.

At present, BIT offers:

  • Diploma Programs (Polytechnic): Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mining Engineering.

  • Undergraduate (B.Tech) Programs: Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mining Engineering.
